W/OMEN | WOMEN’S MONTH

In the Philippines, patriarchy is the leading system of society.

Women in the workforce are still struggling to be recognized and trusted. They are seen as fragile when criticized, emotional in facing challenges, and indecisive during critical times. With these misconceptions, most men believe that women cannot survive, succeed, or shine without them.

To defy these misconceptions, we created a mini-campaign on social media during Women’s Month. Also, this is to remind all Filipinas that being feminine or a woman is not just a mere gender, but it’s their strength.

Introducing — W/Omen — women without men. A wordplay of “women” by putting a slash in between “w” and “o” to be read as “without.” This reminds women that they don’t need men to be strong, smart, and super in their lives, and being a woman is already enough to be the best in everything.

We created two artworks with different art styles to cater to the female millennials and Genzers.

We posted them on social media like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
