JIRO | Mister Donut
FINALIST AT 2019 CATHOLIC MASS MEDIA AWARDS
A happy 12-year-old kid is excited to see his 12th family on Christmas day.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
SUPERS: More than a million orphans are seeking a family to adopt them every year.
JIRO: I’m Jiro. Every year, I have a different family. In 2006, I was the youngest child of the Dela Cruz Family. In 2010, I was the only child. In 2012, I was the favorite grandson of the Lolas of Manila. Today, I’m going to meet a new family again.
NUN: Are you ready?
JIRO: They’re the twelfth mother, father, sister, and younger brother I’m going to have. They’re the twelfth family with whom I will exchange gifts and celebrate Noche Buena. This Christmas is a unique one. It has a unique kind of happiness and bonding. I feel that I’m a part of their family. And as usual, every after Christmas, it’s time to say goodbye again.
(To the nuns) Thank you so much. I’m going to miss you. Bye.
SUPERS: The greatest Christmas gift is your family.
